City of Livonia Michigan: The city of Livonia is located in the Northwest part of Wayne County. Livonia is considered to be in the Detroit Metropolitan area, located about 22 miles northwest from downtown Detroit. Livonia Schools: Breaking down the city's school districts can be a challenging task, with everything seemingly changing all the time. Many potential Livonia resident's have called us looking for a home within a certain Livonia High School district. Feel free to use the links provided below for more information, but here is a vague generalization. Livonia has three zip codes that we commonly use for home search purposes, which are 48152, 48154, and 48150. Using this generalization, much of the 48152 residents attend the Livonia Stevenson High School District (of course, some may not). The borders for Stevenson are generally North of 5 Mile up to 8 Mile & East of Haggerty up to Inkster Rd. The Northeast portion of the City contains the Clarenceville school district. Then we go on to the 48154 area and most of that goes to Livonia Churchill High School (there are portions which go outside of that). This boundary is generally South of 5 Mile to Joy Rd & Haggerty East to around Farmington Rd. There are also sections of Westland Michigan that attend Livonia Churchill high school. The 48150 area has a big portion that goes to Livonia Franklin High School, which is located on the city's South East side. Before you buy, remember to check with the Livonia school district to see where your children will attend school. The boundaries of Livonia Franklin are South of 5 Mile to around Warren Rd (includes some of Westland) & Farmington Rd East to Inkster Rd. As a reminder please double check these boundaries with the proper authority.
