The city of Livonia Michigan has just under 100,000 residents, is centrally located between Detroit, Ann Arbor with easy access to northern suburbs, is approx. 36 square miles, has 3 different Livonia school districts and Clarenceville school district within it's borders, great little league sports programs, fantastic parks and recreation areas and much more.
How many would break down each section of Livonia Michigan may vary slightly
so I will give you the general rule of thumb here. Northwest Livonia would basically be boundaries of north of 5 Mile Rd and west of Farmington Rd. All of the area mentioned would include the Livonia Stevenson High School District--Stevenson high school district does go east of Farmington all the way to Inkster Rd in some places. Visit the map of Livonia here and simply put a straight line north and south using Farmington Rd and east/west using 5 Mile Rd, this will give the 4 quadrants of Livonia. Northwest Livonia not only offers great access to Detroit, Ann Arbor and our northern suburbs via I96/I275 it also offers great conveniences to shopping and entertainment. Northwest Livonia is home to Laurel Park Place Mall, Greenmead historic park , Bicentennial Park, Rotary Park and has great access to Twelve Oaks Mall, Downtown Farmington, Downtown Northville, Downtown Plymouth and Downtown Novi just for starting out with a great shopping/entertainment day.
Northwest Livonia also has some great access to healthcare: St Mary Mercy Hospital, Botsford Hospital and Providence Park of Novi just to get us started. As you will notice one of the things the local residents of northwest Livonia love is the convenience to just about everything they want to access. This seems to come up time and time again with both local residents and new residents relocating to Livonia from out of the area.
